About

Me and my husband:

I am married to my darling husband and we have 6 wonderful children.  My husband and I love to date, dance, travel together and watch Studio C.

Me and my children:

We love to hike, write in our nature journals, build spook alleys, have picnics, read aloud classics, play games, memorize scriptures, illustrate picture books, travel and exercise to the “Eye of the Tiger”.

Me and my parents:

I am the eldest child of Jeff and Margaret Cooper who are raising 11 children.  It might be hard to believe, but my mom and I had two babies at the same time!  It’s super fun to get together because we have children the same age!  My mom is a parenting and marriage genius and she has been a marvelous mentor.  I love teaching House Organization classes with her in our community and hope to help more women have organized homes and families.

My challenges:

Motherhood has been an excellent career for me and taken every talent that I’ve possessed.  I have been mentored by amazing women my whole life;  my grandmothers, aunts, sisters, mothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, church leaders, friends, and college roommates.  My sister-in-law was a professional elementary teacher before her children came, and now she is giving me parenting tips on a weekly basis.  What a blessing!  My children have a lot of health challenges so I spend a lot of time preparing grain-free meals and doing therapy with them.

What I enjoy:  I have many passions!

I love to teach.  I love teaching house and family organization.

I enjoy cooking, working with children, tea parties, book clubs, square dancing, country swing dancing, natural childbirth, basketball, and snow skiing.  And I love cherry cheese cake.

I love reading scriptures, biographies, classics, historical fiction, self-help, marriage, motherhood and house organization books.

I love traveling to the east and west coasts of Canada and the U.S.  I love seafood, rainforests, beaches, art museums, author homes, and historical sights.  I love flower garden parks like Butchart Gardens and the lupin covered meadows of Prince Edward Island.

I love writing. I have 14 journals.  I finish a new journal about my life each year.  I have a yearly tradition to read my journal at the end of each year.  It’s quite interesting to see what happened that year and see if I learned from my own life story.

I also have a love journal about my husband and a journal on each of my children to record the darling things they say and do.  I love making a digital photo scrapbooks about my family each year.

I am a happy, busy member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  (I’m a Mormon.)  I have 3 jobs at my church.  I am in charge of Activities for the 8-11 year old girls, I teach the women once a month, and I visit several ladies monthly so they know they are loved.

My dreams:  The sky is the limit!

Most importantly, I want to raise a righteous family that goes to heaven.

I am an artist, writer, and homeschool wannabe.

I graduated from BYU-Idaho and BYU of Provo in Illustration and my dream is to write and illustrate children’s picture books that teach morals in a magical way and to win the Caldecott medal!

I want to teach charm and character classes, marriage classes, and sponsor “Cinderella-type” balls.  I want to teach families across the world how to have happy, strong marriages and families in organized homes.

I want to build libraries, Christian schools, spread literacy worldwide, and to create movies and awards that inspire people to create morally inspiring media.
