Make it easy for them.

Work with your family’s habits and ability levels.  Put hooks at their level and then train them to hang up their coat and book bags.  Could you put some hooks up in a mudroom, closet, or put up a beautiful coat rack.

The cupboard opens for purse storage, cell phones, and the bowl on the cabinet is for all the car keys.  You can buy a furniture piece similar to this at Ikea.

Welcome to my friend’s Lynde Mott’s home, the artist. She painted this painting in 3 days and didn’t want to buy a frame, so she painted a frame on the wall.  What a thrifty idea!
