Planners and Organizers

weekly monthly planner

These planners are thin and lightweight and fit easily into your purse. Your planner is one of your most important tools. It's your brain on paper.

Are you a mother that is managing many different tasks, people, and events?  It’s difficult to remember everything, all the time so using a planner is one of your most important tools to save your sanity.  When you write down what you need to remember and check your planner regularly your mind can relax and you can accomplish what you need to.  There’s so many ways to use a planner.  Here’s the tools I use to keep myself organized:

  • I use a calender hanging on the wall,
  • a control binder,
  •  a weekly planning planner,
  •  and a calender planner that are both the size of a checkbook,
  • and a dry erase board that hangs in the kitchen,
  • and I love post-it notes
  • and small, chunky notebooks too!

Do what works for you.  Maybe you could organize yourself in your i-phone.

planner and calenders

There are lots of inexpensive planner options.

I love dry erase boards.

dry erase board

This dry erase board works great but it may looks a little confusing.

Here’s a bigger dry erase board.

You can make a semi-permanent grid that is less confusing to read by using a ruler and wet erase markers to create a grid or calender. The wet erase markers can only be erased with water.

Here’s the tools I used:

Expo dry eraser, ruler, pens and eraser

These tools are super handy!

Don’t forget-

wet erase pens

These pens can make your grid so it's stay on your dry erase board long-term.

And remember the post-it notes!

post it notes

Post it notes go in a planner as a quick way to write up a shopping list, children's chores list, honeydo lists, a menu, or grocery list, or a quick daily plan.

Also here’s another idea – Keep a small notebook by your bed to write down those flashes of inspiration you receive at bedtime.  Who knows maybe that’s were you’ll get your ideas for your next Pulitzer Prize winning novel idea!

monthly planner calender

Here's a view of my planner calender - make sure to write down the appointments on the calender hanging at home too so the family knows what's going on.
